Container Transport (Skylift)

Container Transport is the top-tier job on the illegal menu and the biggest single payout on the server. Fly a Skylift helicopter, hook four shipping containers off the docks, and airlift them to a drop zone. It costs nothing to attempt and pays $50,000 — if you can fly a heavy-lift helicopter.

Requirements

• Level 5 in the illegal menu — 8,000 EXP. This is the longest grind on the menu; run Moonshine (300 EXP) and Plane Drug Delivery (180 EXP) to build it up.
• The illegal tablet (illegal_tablet) in your inventory to open the menu.
• Not police, sheriff or EMS.
• Serious helicopter skill. The Skylift is heavy, slow to turn, and unforgiving.

How to Start

1. Use the illegal tablet (illegal_tablet) to open the illegal menu.
2. Pick Container Transport from the job list.
3. Drive to the marked helipad — the Skylifts appear as you approach.

The four containers sit in the same place in both areas, on the dockside at roughly 1114.22, -3045.11 · 1114.11, -3041.49 · 1128.46, -3031.09 · 1128.61, -3025.91.

Step-by-Step

1. Reach the helipad. The Skylifts spawn nearby as you arrive. (15 minutes)
2. Airlift all four containers to the delivery zone, one at a time. Hover over a container, attach it, fly out, and release it inside the zone. Every container pays as you drop it. (30 minutes)
3. Return the helicopter to the helipad to finish the run. (30 minutes)

How much money total? $50,000 in black money — the largest payout available anywhere on the server, for a job with no purchase, no combat and low police attention. Take it to Money Wash to turn it into clean, spendable cash.

💡 The wash matters at this size. $50,000 of dirty money loses a real chunk at the laundry, and there is a $30,000 cap per wash with a 30-minute cooldown — so one Container Transport run takes two laundering trips to clean out. Plan for it.

Tips & Common Mistakes

• Practise with the Skylift first. It handles nothing like a Maverick — heavy, slow to stop, and the magnet needs a steady hover.
• Come in high and settle. Trying to snatch a container on the move is how most runs are lost.
• Fly slowly with a container attached. Sharp turns swing the load and can rip it loose.
• Release inside the zone. The drop only counts within the marked delivery radius.
• Return the helicopter. The $25,000 completion reward is half the run — landing at the helipad is not optional.
• Do not sell yourself short on laundering. With a $30,000 wash cap and a 30-minute cooldown, $50,000 needs two trips to Money Wash.

What level do I need for Container Transport?

No — this one is solo only.

Why won't my last container attach?

Come off it and re-approach in a clean hover. The magnet needs the container free and your helicopter steady above it; drifting sideways is the usual cause.
