Garbage Job

Garbage Job is the biggest-paying legal job in the city, and you can start it at level 1 with $100 in your pocket. Take a truck out of the Davis depot, work a list of dumpsters around the map, throw the bags on the back, then bring it in and burn what's left. Work it solo or bring a crew of up to four.

Requirements

• Level 1 to start. Your level unlocks the bigger tasks — 14 tasks across 7 levels, two per level.
• No whitelist — anyone can clock on. You don't need to be hired.
• A job uniform is put on you automatically when you go on duty.

The tablet is how you pick a task. If you lose it, /garbagejob opens the same menu — both only work while you're on garbage duty.

How to Start

1. Go to the employer ped at the Davis depot and toggle garbage duty on.
2. Buy the garbage tablet ($100) from the ped standing next to him.
3. (Optional) Invite up to 3 more players — they join with /acceptgarbage. Only the lobby leader can start a task, and the crew can't be bigger than the task allows.
4. Open the tablet, pick a task your level has unlocked, and the truck spawns behind the depot.

• Dumpsters: 20 spots across the city — one is marked on your GPS at a time, and you never get the same one twice in a row.
• Burn point (hand-in): -329.18, -1562.47, 27.54, back at the depot.

Step-by-Step

1. Clock on at the employer ped and buy the tablet.
2. Pick a task. The truck spawns behind the depot with the keys in it.
3. Drive to the marked dumpster. Wheel the dumpster to the truck, then carry 3 bin bags over to it. That's one dumpster done — the next one gets marked.
4. Repeat until you've cleared the task's dumpster count (3 to 10, depending on the task).
5. Drive back to the burn point and destroy 3 bags per crew member to close the run.
6. The fee and EXP land the moment the last bag burns. /leavegarbagetask cancels a run.

What You Get & Where to Sell It

Nothing to sell — the fee is paid straight into your cash at the burn point. On top of it, every bag you throw has a 50% chance to split open and drop one recycling material:

You throw 3 bags per dumpster, so a run is 9–30 bags — roughly 5–15 materials. Nothing in the city sells these, so keep them: they're crafting stock, and this is the cleanest and safest way to farm them.

💰 Cost vs Reward

The fee is paid to every crew member in full — it is not split. What changes is your own cut: every dumpster you personally clear takes 10% off your share of the fee. So the job pays best when a crew spreads the dumpsters between them instead of one person doing all of it.

Tips & Common Mistakes

• Always run it as a crew. Everyone gets the whole fee, so four people on one task is four times the money — and splitting the dumpsters keeps everybody's cut high.
• ⚠️ Never run Task #12 solo. Ten dumpsters on your own wipes out the entire fee. Take it with a crew or take Task #11 instead.
• Grab the bags, not just the dumpster. A dumpster only counts once all 3 bags are on the truck.
• Don't forget the burn step — 3 bags per crew member at the depot. No burn, no pay.
• Keep the materials. No shop buys them, and they're the cheapest crafting stock on the server.
