Tow Truck
Written from the live server data for this feature — locations, recipes and prices are read straight from the jobs setup, not estimated.
Tow Truck is a steady, no-stress legal earner: clock on at the Davis auto shop, take the flatbed, and go recover broken-down cars from all over the map. The further out the car sits and the more expensive it is, the better the call pays.
Overview
- Type: Legal recovery job — solo
- Where: Auto shop in Davis, recovery calls across the whole map
- Payout: Roughly $920–$2,620 per call, in clean cash — more at higher levels
- Risk: None — fully legal, no timer
Requirements
- No level needed. All 15 recovery calls are open from your first shift — your level only adds +$120 per level to every fee.
- No whitelist — anyone can clock on.
- The flatbed is provided free, with the keys already in it.
Required item:
| Item | Spawn code | Where to get | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| TowTruck Tablet | towtruck_tablet |
The shop ped beside the auto-shop worker, 381.97, -1624.12, 28.29 |
$100 |
The tablet is where you pick your calls. /towtruck opens the same menu, so the item is a
convenience rather than a gate — both only work while you're on duty.
How to Start
- Go to the auto-shop worker in Davis and press [E] to clock on. The flatbed spawns beside you with keys.
- Buy the tow truck tablet ($100) from the ped next door, or just use
/towtruck. - Pick a call from the tablet. A broken-down car spawns at that location and gets routed on your GPS.
📍 Locations
- Start / depot: auto-shop ped
383.38, -1625.03, 29.29(Davis) — blip "Tow Truck Job". It's an [E] prompt, not a target menu. - Tablet shop:
381.97, -1624.12, 28.29, right beside him. - Flatbed spawn:
395.15, -1625.97or397.04, -1623.66. - Drop-off (hand-in):
375.60, -1612.12, 29.29— the red marker beside the depot. - Call sites: the 15 locations below, marked on GPS one at a time.
Step-by-Step
- Clock on, buy the tablet, and pick a call.
- Drive out to the marked car.
- Line the flatbed up directly in front of the car — this is the part people get wrong.
- Press [E] to take the hook, [E] again to attach it to the car, then H to winch it onto the bed.
- Drive back to the depot, stop on the red marker with the car still on the bed, and press H to hand it over.
- Cash and EXP land immediately. Press [E] on the worker again to clock off.
The 15 recovery calls
Pay assumes you take the call standing at the depot. Pay is a normal car; Jackpot is the same call when a supercar spawns instead.

Add +$120 per level to every figure — a level 7 driver earns $720 more on every call.
- Best money: call #4 — biggest base fee and the longest drive, but it's an 8 km run out and a loaded tow back.
- Best EXP: call #13 — 500 EXP and it's barely a kilometre from the depot. #14 is second.
- You can't repeat a call until you've cleared all 15.
- A full 15-call cycle is roughly $17,400 at level 1.
What You Get & Where to Sell It
Cash only — no loot, no items, nothing to sell. The fee is paid the moment you drop the car on the marker.
Your fee is built from four parts:
| Part | How it's worked out |
|---|---|
| Mileage | $50 for every kilometre between you and the car when you take the call |
| Base fee | $200–$600, fixed per call |
| Vehicle class | A multiplier on the base fee — SUVs ×1.2, vans ×1.5, sports ×1.4, supercars ×2.5 |
| Level bonus | +$120 per level |
The car is picked at random from a 25-model pool, so class is luck. There are three supercars in that pool — those are the jackpot pulls.
💰 Cost vs Reward
| Amount | |
|---|---|
| Investment (one-time) | $100 tablet |
| Cost per run | $0 — the flatbed is free |
| Reward per run | $920–$2,620 at level 1, up to ~$3,340 at level 7 |
| Break-even | Your first call |
| After that | ~$17,400 per full 15-call cycle, clean, with zero risk |
Tips & Common Mistakes
- Nose the flatbed straight at the car. If you approach at an angle the winch won't grab it — this is the single most common mistake on this job.
- Take the far calls from the depot. Mileage is paid on the distance between you and the car at the moment you accept it, so standing next to a call before taking it pays you nothing.
- Run #13 and #14 for levelling, the northern calls for money.
- Any player can call you.
/helpflatbedbroadcasts a tow request to on-duty drivers — it pays nothing, but it's the best roleplay this job has. - Motorcycles, boats, planes, helis and industrial vehicles can't go on the bed.
