Moonshine

Moonshine is the biggest production job on the illegal menu — buy five stills, haul them into the woods, mash and cook the ingredients, bottle the result, and deliver five packs to a buyer up north. It pays the most EXP of any job in the pack, and it is by far the longest single run.

Requirements

• Level 4 in the illegal menu — 4,000 EXP.
• The illegal tablet (illegal_tablet) in your inventory to open the menu.
• Not police, sheriff or EMS.

• Total setup ≈ $5,500 in clean money. The market takes cash or bank card only — it will not accept black money, so wash your dirty cash at Money Wash first.
• Stills are consumed when you place them. You need all five down before production unlocks.
• Purchases arrive by drone about 10 seconds after buying.

How to Start

1. Use the illegal tablet (illegal_tablet) to open the illegal menu.
2. Buy the full shopping list above from the illegal market tab.
3. Pick Moonshine from the job list and drive to the contact NPC.

Step-by-Step

1. Talk to the contact NPC at 283.71, 6795.47. Use the target / third-eye button → Spawn Vehicle. A Bison appears and you are put in the driver's seat.
2. Buy your five stills from the illegal market if you have not already. Fewer than five and you cannot place them.
3. Drive to the distillation area at 1540.77, 6335.19 and enter the marked circle. This spawns the packaging table, the crushing crates and the blending barrel.
4. Place the five stills. Inside the circle, open your inventory (Tab) → use moonshine_still → position it with the gizmo → confirm. Repeat five times. (A "too far" message means you stepped outside the circle.)
5. Crush. At a crushing crate, target → Fruit Crushing — consumes old_fruit or old_corn and gives crushed_ingredients.
6. Blend. At the blending barrel, target → Fruit Blending → blended_ingredients.
7. Cook at a still, in this exact order: Add items to pot (blended_ingredients + tap_water) → Prepare Recipe (needs tap_water, opens a recipe minigame) → Start Cooking → wait 3 minutes → Collect Product → 3× moonshine.
8. Package. At the table, target → Package — three moonshine become one moonshine_pack, carried in your hands.
9. Load the box into the back of the Bison with [E]. Repeat steps 5–9 until five boxes are loaded.
10. Deliver. Drive to -685.97, 5787.20 and enter the point. Job complete: $10,000 and 300 EXP.

The buyer at the delivery point pays on arrival — there is no separate sale.

⚠️ Read that last line before you commit. You pay $5,500 in clean money and are paid back in dirty money, which loses a cut at the laundry. Moonshine is the longest job on the menu for one of the smallest real profits. Run it for the 300 EXP — it is the fastest route to level 5 and Container Transport, which pays $50,000.

Tips & Common Mistakes

• Buy everything before you leave the city. There is no shop in the woods, and a missing tap_water stops a cook dead.
• Buy extra water. Both "add items to pot" and "prepare recipe" consume tap_water — budget about two per cook.
• Place all five stills inside the circle. "Too far" means you drifted out of the radius.
• Follow the cooking order exactly: add items → prepare recipe → start cooking → collect. Skipping a step just fails the interaction.
• Cook on all five stills at once. Each cook takes three minutes; running them in sequence turns a long job into an extremely long one.
• One still ≈ one pack. Three moonshine per cook, three moonshine per pack — so five loaded stills is exactly your five boxes.
• Stay in the driver's seat for the delivery — the point only registers for the driver.
