No guns, no van, no chase — you plant a skimmer on an ATM in Paleto Bay, wait for customers to use it, clone their card in a back office, then walk into a bank and withdraw the money. Slow, quiet, and the most roleplay-friendly crime in the pack.

• The atm_hack_device is reusable — buy it once and it lasts forever.

How to Start

1. Use the illegal tablet (illegal_tablet) to open the illegal menu.
2. Buy an atm_hack_device (once) and a blank_card (every run) from the illegal market.
3. Pick Fraud Scheme from the job list and drive north to the marked ATM.

Step-by-Step

1. Insert the hacking device. Go to the Paleto ATM and plant your atm_hack_device. It is not consumed — you get it back.
2. Place the blank card, which starts the data capture. This consumes the blank_card.
3. Walk away and wait. Stand clear of the ATM and let three customers use it. Each takes about ten seconds to skim.
4. Drive to the secret office at 1275.10, -1709.90, 54.50 and duplicate the captured data. You receive a fake_credit_card.
5. Go to the banker at Legion Square and withdraw. The fake card is consumed and you are paid $1,000–$3,000 in black money.

There is nothing to sell — the bank pays you directly.

You can only withdraw once per run — a second attempt with the same card pays nothing. Take the dirty cash to Money Wash to turn it into spendable money.

Tips & Common Mistakes

• Buy several blank cards at once. Paleto is a long drive — do not make it twice for a $500 item.
• Stand back from the ATM. Customers will not approach while you are hovering next to it.
• The hack device is reusable. You only ever buy it once; never re-buy it out of habit.
• Do the whole loop in one trip. Paleto → the office in the hills → Legion Square is a long route; plan a fast car for it.
• This is the quietest job on the menu. If you want money without a shootout, Fraud is the one — it just pays less than the driving jobs at the same level.
