Fruit Picking is the easiest money in the city and it costs nothing to start. Drive up to the Grapeseed farm belt, pick fruit off the trees and patches with a quick skill check, then sell the whole bag to Farmer Joe for $100 a piece. No tools, no level, no timer, no risk.

How to Start

1. Drive north-east to the Grapeseed farm belt. Every orchard and patch has its own blip.
2. Stand on a fruit and press [E].
3. Pass the skill check and the fruit goes into your bag. There is a 3-second gap before you can pick again.

Step-by-Step

1. Drive to any fruit blip in the farm belt.
2. Stand on a pick point, press [E] and clear the 3-stage skill check.
3. You get 1–3 of that fruit per successful pick. Wait 3 seconds and take the next point.
4. Work the whole cluster, then hop to the next orchard — they are all within a short drive.
5. Drive to Farmer Joe, press [E] and choose Sell All to cash out.

What You Get & Where to Sell It

Everything sells to Farmer Joe for a flat $100 each, paid in cash.

How much money total? A normal pick is worth about $200, and a strawberry pick averages closer to $300. Because the only limit is the 3-second gap, a full lap of the orchards fills a bag fast — this is the quickest clean money a brand-new character can make.

Tips & Common Mistakes

• Work the Strawberry Patch first. It is the only fruit that drops up to five at a time.
• Stay in a cluster. The Orange Orchard has 29 pick points and the Apple Orchard 23, so you can chain picks without walking far — that beats driving between patches.
• A failed skill check gives you nothing, and the 3-second gap still applies. Take your time.
• Bring a car with space. Fruit is light, but a full lap is a lot of items — sell before your bag fills up.
• All seven fruits pay the same, so pick whatever is closest rather than hunting one type.
